Millet on the test bench

Millet, an old and traditional crop, is to be revived and become more native again in Brandenburg’s fields.

The Verein zur Erhaltung und Rekultivierung von Nutzpflanzen, VERN e.V. for short, offers trial seed for up to one hectare as well as advice and cultivation support. These are several tested origins and varieties that promise a good yield and, above all, good quality for animal feed.

The offer is primarily aimed at organic farms with their own animal husbandry and fodder production. Interested farms should contact VERN (mslw@vern.de) immediately for further coordination.
