Since 2021, the European member states have been obliged to support innovation processes in agriculture. agrathaer has been the innovation service provider for the state of Brandenburg since 2024. Within Germany, there are already differences between the individual federal states with regard to the organization of the work of innovation service providers – these differences are even more pronounced at European level. In order to optimize the working conditions of innovation service providers and their contribution to innovation processes, the Master Class format was created in the EU Horizon project ATTRACTISS.
The 2nd Master Class took place in Germany during the annual IDL workshop in Weimar. Reports on experiences from other EU countries and the possibilities of involving more farmers in EIP-AGRI projects were discussed together with the IDLs present. In addition, the concept of transnational cooperation between several member states was evaluated for its applicability in Germany. Lively discussions between the participants led to numerous points of contact and impulses for future tasks of the IDLs in Germany.
