Agri-photovoltaics (Agri-PV) as a technical innovation can help to alleviate this land conflict through dual use and at the same time offer farmers an additional source of income. Furthermore, agrivoltaics can have a positive effect on crops by shading areas and preventing the land from drying out. Its use is also interesting for organic farming.
The online seminar provides an introduction to the topic of agrivoltaics, highlights the legal framework and funding opportunities for agricultural practice and highlights some existing obstacles, but above all the potential and synergies of agrivoltaics. The possibilities for integrating agrivoltaics into agricultural or horticultural systems are many and varied. The event will also give you an insight into the work of the “SynAgri-PV” research project, which has investigated acceptance from an agricultural perspective, among other things.
