We cordially invite you to the last field day of the EIP project “High quality protein feed from alfalfa” (HEILU) on October 17th.

The event starts at 10 a.m. in House 4 / Conference Room 1, entrance to the left of the ZALF canteen. You can expect exciting presentations on the topic of alfalfa as a high-quality protein feed, its cultivation, harvesting, leaf and stem feed values in comparison and conservation. First, ZALF scientists will present the project and the results so far, before the potential of alfalfa for animal feed production and usability for monogastric animals is presented. You will also be able to inspect alfalfa stands on the trial plots. Exchange your experiences with each other and with expert speakers and ask your questions.

Participation fee: The event is free of charge as it is funded by the EAFRD. You can get a warm lunch in the ZALF canteen at cost price. Coffee and refreshments will be provided in the morning and afternoon.
